Megan Khang has captured her first win on the LPGA Tour through a playoff at the CPKC Women's Open, also known as the Canadian Women's Open.

Khang, a 25-year-old from Rockland, Massachusetts, was tied with Jin Young Ko at 9-under par after 72 holes at the Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in Vancouver.

After finishing with a bogey on Hole 17 on Sunday, her fifth of the final round, Khang trailed Ko by one stroke entering the final hole.

Khang then hit her approach shot on the par-4 18th within four feet of the hole and then sank the birdie putt to force the playoff with Ko.

Khang hit her second shot to the fringe left of the pin on 18 and two-putted for her first win in eight years on the LPGA Tour and 191 career starts.
